This type of research methodology can be described as dynamic in nature. The method is also used to determine the correlation that exists between different variables. Moreover, this type of research can also be used in the making of casual inferences that aim at explaining why things happen in a certain way. Therefore, this article tries to explain the relationship that exists between quantitative research and evidence-based practices in the field of nursing (Anon, 2018). Introduction There has been a need to fully embrace evidence-based Practices when it comes to the aspect of decision making. Therefore, in order to realize the full implementation of the evidence-based practices, quantitate research is one of the paradigms of this type of practice. Therefore, the article discusses the aspect of quantitative research in connection with evidence-based practices. Statement of the Problem The main aim of the article was to clearly show how quantitative research can be integrated into evidence-based practices. Moreover, the article also highlights the various criteria used in quantitative research. Research Questions The research questions in this article include: 1. What is the purpose of quantitative research on evidence-based practices? 2. The focus of quantitative research in connection with evidence-based practices 3. What are the basic elements of quantitative analysis? Literature Review This particular article has been able to explain how quantitative research can be applied to investigate how people can improve and achieve their set health goals. Moreover, the paper has also been able to explain how quantitative research can be used by policymakers to implement the various health policies. Additionally, the article has also been able to vividly describe how quantitative research can be used to prove the effectiveness and efficiency of evidence-based nursing practices. Moreover, the article has also done a good job in explaining how this type of research has led to the aspect of nursing being centered on people. It is clear that the article has been able to vividly describe how quantitative research can be used to improve the efficiency of evidence-based practices. However, the article has not been able to fully describe how this type of research relates to evidence-based practice. Conceptual Framework This article has been able to bring various concepts related to quantitative research, moreover, the article has also highlighted how correlation is related to the aspect of quantitative research. Lastly, the conceptual framework of this article also has been able to clearly present quantitative research in a generalizable and meaningful manner. Conceptual Underpinnings From the article, it is evident that the authors have failed to fully describe the various aspects of quantitative research and how they relate to evidence-based practices. Moreover, the authors have also failed to justify how quantitative research determines the variables to be used in a study. Qualitative Research Critique Title Qualitative Research Findings as Evidence: Utility in Nursing Practice Abstract Qualitative research can be defined as a type of research that is based on the aspect of data collection with the aim of looking for answers. Therefore, in this case, the main idea behind this article is to come up with a clear understanding of how qualitative research contributes to the aspect of evidence-based research. In qualitative research data is collected and analyzed for purposes of investigating a research question. Introduction With the development of qualitative research methods in the healthcare setting, it is clear that Nurses should have the necessary knowledge on this type of research method. Therefore, nurses should be able to know how this type of research method can lead to the answering of the various policy questions and health services examination. Can qualitative research demonstrate conceptual utility symbolically and instrumentally? 4. Effects of qualitative research on evidence-based practices. Literature Review This particular article has been able to explain the nature of qualitative research in connection with the aspect of evidence-based practices. The article has also clearly shown how qualitative research has helped in the demonstration of independence in clinical communications. Moreover, the article has also been able to clearly demonstrate how qualitative research can help in the investigation of quantitative research that can be described as being unexpected. Furthermore, the article also shows how qualitative research helps in the generation of research hypotheses. It is also clear that this type of research can also be used in the validation of quantitative instruments. Lastly, the article was also able to explain, how qualitative research can be used in the evaluation of evidence-based practices. This particular article has been able to deliver its intended information in the best way possible. However, it is evident some of the words used in the article can only be understood by people in the healthcare professional and thus it may pose as a challenge for people who do not have a healthcare experience to understand this article (Esperón, 2018).  Conceptual framework The conceptual framework presented in this article has helped in the presentation of ideas in the best manner possible. Moreover, this conceptual framework also captures the aspect of qualitative research in a way that makes it easy for one to remember. Moreover, this conceptual framework has been able to highlight the working hypothesis, descriptive categories, formal hypothesis and also the various models of operations research.
